"There is something in their music for every listener!" - Karma Bertelsen, Music Week "The first time I heard FINGERTRAP I was struck by their energy, passion and professionalism, they played like their lives depend up on it." - Tony Moore, Ex Iron Maiden and Cutting Crew "…There's a band I met at the airport the other day, a young band called FINGERTRAP, and they gave me a CD when they were off to do a festival in Germany, and I really loved it." - Tony Hadley, Spandau Ballet “Fingertrap are a very talented band & great songwriters… I’m certain they’ll go on to achieve great things.” - Chris Kimsey, Producer (Rolling Stones) "Their infectious blend of Pop, Rock, Swing, and Funk will have you hooked before you know it." - SHURE INC "These guys are class.” - Andrew Shay, Bassist at Kids In Glass Houses “That set was terrific!” - Gruff Rhys, Super Furry Animals With energy and indie pop sass to rival The Hives and The Fratellis, the last 10 years have seen Fingertrap play raucous shows around the UK and Europe, with numerous festival appearances including Boomtown Fair, Montreux Jazz Festival, Frankfurt Musikmesse and winning two Europe-wide competitions for their live performances run by industry giants Casio and Shure.

The infectious groove of their last single ‘Body Popping’ tells of vocalist Sion's first ever night out on the lash in Cardiff, drinking alcohol and his teenage insecurities. With fans such as Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), Andrew Shay (Kids In Glass Houses), Chris Kimsey (Producer, Rolling Stones), Frank Turner, and The Dead Daisies, the boys now look to return to the stage in 2024 after a six year hiatus, release new music and build on previous festival support and radio support from BBC Radio Wales, Nation Radio Wales, Radio Cardiff and GTFM.

Fingertrap are Sion (lead vocals & piano), Jimmy (lead guitar & backing vocals), Nick (bass & backing vocals) and Frankie (drums & backing vocals).
