ON TOUR IN EUROPE FROM JUNE TO AUGUST 2025 AND IN OCTOBER 2025
El Guapo is a young Argentine band that has managed to expand its reach beyond the local scene, touring Spain, Mexico and Guatemala and captivating the audience with a particular mix of Latin-rooted influences with rock and funk, consolidating itself as a fresh and exciting musical proposal from the Latin American scene.
Among his notable participations, El Guapo was the opening show at TEDxRiodelaPlata in 2021 and the original soundtrack of the Amazon series “Iosi, el espia repentido”.
El Guapo was formed in 2019 when its composers Juan Grabina and Joni Strugo, after several years working together and procrastinating on personal projects, decided to start working on their original music, so after several months of living and working playing in an island in Brazil, they decide to take this path.
The origin of the name El Guapo dates back to 2020, when after Brazil they moved their studio to a space that had a sign with that name on the door as a result of a neighborhood conflict. This space was home and creative refuge in the pandemic, in which they composed the songs that are part of “Oye Boludo”, their debut album.
