Active since 2009, Dread Fury has managed to self release his debut, entitled 'The Dread Furious EP' in 2010 in which the lead track, 'The Latest Debate' picked up online radio airplay. He cites the likes of Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Wonder, Tracy Chapman, Ben Harper, David Bowie, India.Arie, Otis Redding and Peter Tosh as SOME of his major influences.
He followed up his EP release with his first full release in 2012, the mini-LP 'Inquests of the Heart, Tales of the Real', which charted on the iTunes just added R&B/Soul chart at #21 and becoming an underground favourite. He then followed up with 'Welcome To The Darkness EP' in 2014 in which the title track picked up airplay on online radio stations. His last album, 'The Voice of Faith', charted at #68 on the iTunes R&B/Soul charts and #70 on the iTunes R&B/Soul New Releases chart and the tracks taken from it, "Don't Worry", "Miss Super Lady" and "Pick Me Out From the Chaos" picked up online radio airplay.
"The Dread Furious EP Volume 2" was released in 2017 and features the hit, "Curse Of The Devil" and "My Screaming Mind." "Choose Me EP" followed this in 2019.
His latest release is the critically acclaimed "Catch The Wind While It Blows" EP, released in 2021 featuring the popular title track.
Dread Fury is a one man band in the studio and uses a loop pedal live, creating an invisible band with groove that makes it impossible for the audience member not to dance.
