The blended inspiration of Afrobeats, Hip Hop, Dancehall & Grime was created while growing up in a Ghanaian & Jamaican household. Following in his father’s footsteps, he began perfecting his skills as a DJ in 2006 and quickly ascended to collaborate with notable artists such as Mista Silva, Kaniva & Big Tobz to craft and elevate their signature sound with his artistry.

A natural crossover into music production soon followed. A project that stands to mention is the renowned‘Mix & Blend Vol. 1-6’;a vibrant series of multi-genre classics curated by himself and MC Snizz, receiving up to 500K overall plays on Soundcloud. It served as the essential soundtrack for events across the university club scene and raised the bar for emerging creatives to follow in his footsteps. His reputation as a crowd controller and vibe afficionado secured him top billing for the biggest clubs in the UK at the time; such as Ministry of Sound, Liquid/Envy and Batchwood Mansion.He has also been booked to provide soothing sounds at cultural events at the Serpentine Art Gallery & House of Fraser (Westfield London).

Driven by his love for inspiring people and bringing them together through music, DJ Scyther has been instrumental in setting the tone at concerts such as a UK tour with fellow South Londoners, Section Boyz, Donaeo, Steff London, Julie Adenuga & Trippie Redd. He has achieved international status exciting crowds and musical boundaries through bookings in Accra, Ayia Napa, Dublin, St Tropez, Malta, Kavos and Amsterdam.

Scyther is known for keeping his finger on the buzzer when it comes to music and can always be trusted to spin breakthrough hits in a seamless manner, shocking the crowd constantly.
