They say germanies D.I.Y. Yungblood or Nirvana Hamburgs, but basically they make noisy new guitar music and mix it with everything they like.
After the hamburg, germany based band released their scene shaking and undergroundbreaking first Album “Vibe Ride” two years ago, die cigaretten evolved to one of germanies “if you know, you know”. Providing a contemporary version of german language and laying - or more throwing them - unagitated on noisy riffs and pumpin beats they made their way to get played on the bbc, american college radios, or on this years New Colosssus Festival in New York.
So it wasn’t too unexpected, that “die cigaretten” got signed by the known german indie label “Audiolith” to release a “crashkid” ep and their second LP “Emotional Eater”. Currently they work on new material and are more than excited to have an amazing time with you.
