Now based in Manchester UK, Danny has been smashing stages among the thriving Manchester music scene. Being a regular in hip hop circles, he was a mainstay at the legendary Manchester hip hop night In The Loop and has collaborated with some of the best names in UK and Irish hip hop.
Since then, he has worked with Producers like Pro. P on his 2016 release Elevation Illustrations, which included features from UK artists such as Herrotics, D’Lyfa Reilly, The Bluntskins, Black Josh, Tony Skank, and Legion. The album had tracks featured on radio stations worldwide from BBC Radio in the UK to Chuck D’s Rap Station Radio in New York. His music has been featured in Wordplay Magazine (UK) Word is Bond (USA). Danny has moved crowds at music events and festivals across the UK and Ireland including gigs alongside Irish rap legend Ri Ra of Scary Eire and Boom Bap Festival, which seen him share the stage alongside hip hop heavyweights like Rodney P, Taskforce and Rag’n’Boneman.
He is one of the only Irish Hip Hop acts to have supported House of Pain, joining them on their UK tour and has received critical acclaim from hip hop icons including DJ Lethal, Charli 2na and the Godfather of Hip Hop Kool Herc. With new music soon to be released this year, Diatribe is teaming up with DJ Cutterz from the Taste The Diff’rence crew on a collection of tracks called “Tales From the Down and Outs”, a concept album detailing the lives of characters based in and around places where he lives in Manchester which he describes as “Hip Hop, James Joyce style”…
