“Daal” is the alphabet name of the letter “D” in Persian Language and writing system.

Also the translation form of a word “friendship” in Persian Language is “Dousti” which starts with the letter “D” or as they call it “Daal”.
Daal band says “This group starts its work base on friendship” and all the members of this band have a friendship history over 10 years.

Daal Band is a fusion band, which started its professional career in Iran 5 years ago. Daal band is trying to combine pop music and traditional Iranian singing.
This Band is one of the youngest and well-known bands in Iran. This band has released 2 albums. The first one named “Walk of Ordibehesht” released on May 2016 and their second album named “White Raven” released on February 2018. In these albums, the main purpose of this band was the concerns of humanity, social matters, immigration, and environment...

Daal band performed concerts in Tehran and other cities in Iran. Vahdat hall, Niavaran complex, Shams hall, Azadi Complex was some of the venues that they had concert. Daal band and Shayan Shekarabi as composer won Barbad Award for “Best Mixed Genre Music Composer of the year”
This band consists of five main members. But the instrumental arrangement of Daal Band is as follows: Piano, 2 sets of Percussions, Bass Guitar, Cello, Duduk and Vocal.

Performed as a musician in three music albums, "Walk of Ordibehesht" and "White Raven" with Daal Band, and one Iranian traditional music album by the name of "Night and Silence”

Walk of Ordibehesht
As what the name is (ordibehesht is the second month of spring in Iranian Calendar), the whole album conveys the spring spirit and has a happy atmosphere. All the tracks are hopeful with a prosperous point of view. It contains 10 tracks: A Song of Life, Walk of Ordibehesht, Sweetness of a Dream, A Tale, Dancing My Song, Seven Cities, The Olive Blossoms, Here I Wait, The Moments, and Boom.

White Raven
By the concept of white raven, this specie is rejected members of its family. The album has a darker atmosphere than the first album. Lyrics are mostly conveying some political and critical meanings. But step by step, this atmosphere at the end of the album goes promising and encouraging. It contains 8 tracks: White Raven, Winter, Final Chapter, Our Homeland, Last Days of Esfand, The Infinite Blue, The Silent Half and Just like a Dream.
