Courtyards Short Info

“Mid-tempo atmospherics, euphoric choruses. Not just another festival band” – The Pentatonic

Courtyards, forming mid-2015 meeting at university, are a "new breed of indie chaos".

The release of their first single 'Disarray' in November 2015 gained multiple broadcasts on BBC Introducing in Lancashire, and their second single in May 2016 received the same love from BBC Introducing again.

Recording with Sugar House Studios again is underway in 2016 and bigger things are set for early 2017.
For now Courtyards are enjoying the process of playing and putting on bigger gigs and travelling to new places. With playing their own headline shows and supporting the likes of Josh Kumra, The Carnabys, Kerri Watt, Sigma & Pleasure House so far, the band are off to a good start.

“I’m not sure any other band is quite this energetic in it’s expression of clear cut, melodic indie rock mayhem at the moment as Courtyards are" - Stereo Stickman
