Cohen is a young band that got together in 2005, in a small town deep inside the Basque Country.

Being able to perform both brutal and heart-touching shows, they gained a completely loyal fan-base, proving themselves right after releasing a 5 song demo called “20 Minutes To Collapse” (2007), that soon became the 3rd best demo to be released in that same year according to the Rock Sound’s (currently Rock Zone) website. After being mentioned as one of the most important brand-new bands in Spain by well known Spanish musical critics, they made it clear that the proyect was far from being over and kept being awarded by different musical contest, such as the Volcom Band Joust or the popular basque radio show Euskadi Gaztea to mention a few.

In 2010, they released their first LP “Subconscious Mind”: Recorded by 413 and mixed and mastered by Pelle Henricsson and Eskil Lövstrom (Refused, Poison The Well, Hell is for Heroes, In Flames,…) in Tonteknik Studios (Sweden), the album contains 9 tracks, including a collaboration performed by Aitor Goikoetxea of Berri Txarrak and was reviewed as one of the best hardcore albums in that year by specialized music media (Rockzone, Mondosonoro, Zona-Zero, The Backstage, Entzun!, Gara, Feiticeira, Rock in Spain…)

After dedicating themselves to a long-exhausting and successful promotional tour including shows all over Spain and France having played in some important festivals such as Resurrection Fest, Festimad, Opening shows for Berri Txarrak, etc. Some band members decided to take a break.

Finally, and after some changes the band became a trio. This is the band´s line-up nowadays: Ruben Ramos (Guitar/Voice), Joseba Bernardo (Bass), Iñigo Sánchez (Drums). “Cancer Days” Cohen´s 3rd album came out in February throughout Desert Pearl Union and Kaiowas Records labels. This record’s following tour brought the band to play with some worldwide known bands such as Refused and shows in important Spanish festivals.

In 2014 the band hits Westline Studios with Juan Blas as a producer. Their upcoming new album “Rooms” has been released through Fair Warning, Desert Pearl Union and Pick Your Twelve record labels in December 2014.
