BOUNDS is comprised of Till Valentin, Philipp Sommer und George Green. Their catchy melodies are reminiscent of their great idols such as The Killers, Editors and Jimmy Eat World. It is George Green’s charismatic vocals that chiefly contribute to that comparison. The comforting timbre of his delicate voice lays like dew upon the guitar-riffs that alternate between sonic and gentle, melancholic and euphoric. Four new songs have been created with epic character and touching depth.

BOUNDS write about borders and frontiers within life and the necessity of being aware of them. To cross the bounds that restrain someone could be vital. To trespass borders might be perilous. George’s lyrics are about life and decay, about hopes and sorrows, and about dark secrets within daily life.

BOUNDS used to tour in Germany as Cinnamon loves Candy. They recorded their first EP “Superpower” in 2014. It was produced by Stefan Gade (Udo Lindenberg, Rosenstolz) and Marc Schettler (Beatsteaks, Sportfreunde Stiller) at the reknowned Hamburg recording studio “Hafenklang”. Shortly afterwards they released their debut album “All Our Secrets Remain”, which was produced by Bente Faust (Kettcar, Samy Deluxe) in the Off Ya Tree Studios in Hamburg. Since then BOUNDS has had countless gigs at smaller and larger festivals in and outside Germany.
BOUNDS has appeared on various media outlets such as SWR3, NDRInfo, Delta-Radio, RBB’s Radio Fritz, Deutschlandfunk etc. The music-blog Soundsandbooks.com wrote about their sound:

The new EP “Giants from Mars” by BOUNDS is available from the 30.09. via the Frankfurt-based label Fueled By Passion Records. The four songs were recorded at the Hamburg studio Recorder and produced by Jan Rubach (Ex Gamma Ray).
