My major influences include Half-man half biscuit, The Smiths, Bob Dylan and Nick Cave. I have been playing gigs in various venues around Liverpool for almost a year now.
I recorded an album 'The Spirit Level ' in 2015 under the guise of Quills but my latest venture follows a more punk aesthetic, incorporating a new found sense of urgency which attempts to illustrate the insanity of modern life.
My next goal is to produce another album under the new moniker 'Chris Young And The Ever Diminishing Ego' and to play my music to as wide an audience as is possible.
