After several demo records the band disbanded in 2006.
In 2013 Canis Lupus returned with album "Shape of the Ghost" and in 2015 they had reformed with a couple of new members. In 2016 Canis Lupus were back on the roads again playing pubs and festivals. They visited Lumous Gothic Festival, the biggest gothic festival in Scandinavia, in Tampere, Finland and in 2017 Canis Lupus also played at Subkult festival, Swedens no 1 alternative festival. The same year they released the single "The final Dream" as a Halloween download release and in 2018 the single "Rise and Fall" on all major streaming services.
2020, in the middle of Covid-19 pandemic, Canis Lupus releases the new album "Dust and the Civilisation of Ghosts". Due to the pandemic, all plans of live appearances disappeared.
Now they are looking forward to 2021.
