Born on the dark side of Londons' Camden Town,Zach Rembrandt and Bob James Beam (of Christian Death fame) got together in the winter of 2012, with a desire to create something dark and edgy.The band became known as The Vile Spirits(among various other names within early incarnations), and began playing around North London.
Fast forward to 2014 and Zach Rembrandt temporarily relocates back to his motherland of Australia and puts together a new line up, re-(re?)naming the band Candy & The Dead, while retaining the same dark spirit of the original group, and records the double A side 'Talk Tough To Demons'/'Dahlia' singles.And just to make matters more confusing as of September 2014 Candy & The Dead have found themselves once again based in London with a new/old line up imminent...
