Rami Metwalli is an Egyptian-Polish traveler. Deejaying as Cai FX, he refuses to settle in one city. He loves avocados, mandarins, bread-free burgers, and tea with cardamom and mint. Growing up mainly between Egypt, the UK, and Poland, he discovered his love for electronic music.
Rami spends his time making music, curating playlists, and engineering audio. He has performed at venues like Ministry Of Sound and Egg in London. His mixes broadcast on NTS radio, and he hosts a radio show on Data Transmission UK.
As a producer, he has produced and engineered music for artists of different genres, some of which were broadcast on BBC Introducing on Radio 1 . Also, previously under his pseudonym Ziryab, he was a winner in a remix competition awarded by Universal Music, Mercury Classics, and Olafur Arnalds.
