Bubamara Brass Band (BBB) is a Moscow based brass band focused on playing Balkan music.
Being inspired by music from Emir Kusturica's movies, Aleksandar Kashtanov decided to set up his own band with the strong brass section in 2005.
The band plays Balkan, Gypsy, Romanian, authors by Aleksandar Kashtanov.
Bubamara Brass Band release four successful albums “Kashtanizma”, “Bubamarija”, “Zemlja Bubarumija”, "Balkanteka" and “Ja Volim Bubamaru” on Sketis Music.
In 2012 the band released their first video clip on «Luminica». And in 2013 clip “Jasna Dance”.
In 2013 Bubamara Brass released CD "Balkanteka" featuring Marko Markovic (Serbia).
Bubamara Brass performs at the biggest Russian festivals, such as Usadba Jazz, Wild Mint, Kinotavr and Moscow International Film Festival.
