Bronte Shande is a Bristol based vocalist, songwriter and mentor with a wealth of experience. Singing and performing from a young age this soul-tress has graced the South-West music scene for over 10 years and with a BA (Hons) Professional Musicianship from the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) under her belt she continues to take both her music and teaching across the UK and Europe.
In her new project ‘S H A N D E’, Bronte features some of the most exceptional musicians from Europe and the USA to create exciting original music fusing Soul, Hip-Hop, Disco and RnB traditions alongside her own igniting performance style. Taking influence from the likes of feminist greats Hiatus Kaiyote, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and Esperanza Spalding. ‘S H A N D E’ expresses her past trauma’s with a plethora of complex melodies finding roots in her femininity; decorated with flourishes of dreamy, melancolly harmonies opposed with honest grit.

Bronte has worked and performed with artists such as Benaddict, EMERLD, Ile Flottante, Katey Brooks, Fraser Anderson, Sam Brockington, Circe’s Diner, Ruth Royall and more. Bronte has also written for commercial sessions such as Integrate UK, Rewise UK, Yogocop Records and SPACE Youth.
