lay wistful lyrics and chiming mandola chords upon hypnotic beats and driving bass before grinding into a homogenous mass of psych folk. 2016 has been a breakthrough year for following the release of their 2nd independently produced EP “Levitus”, with the title track featuring as a Fresh Fave on the music blog Fresh on the net, hosted by BBC 6 music’s Tom Robinson. Add to that radio play on BBC Lancashire introducing, Amazing radio, Salford City Radio, Sounds of Salford and finally national play on BBC 6 music’s mixtape.
Quotes
“The lovely loose loping live sound of a band that loves playing together is authentic and unfakeable. could well make themselves a force to be reckoned with”- Tom Robinson, BBC 6 music and Fresh on the Net.
"This is wonderful stuff - haunting, lots of minor chords, folk-inspired melodies and dark-edged chiming guitars - reminiscent of The Veils or even The Triffids. The singer's voice is equally evocative, wracked with some sort of weather beaten melancholy"- Cath Aubergine, Manchester Music.
