Now with their new record “You're My Favourite Scary Movie” the band aspire to bring a fresh approach to the genre with an album taking inspiration from cinematically dramatising the band's personal endeavours.
From different musical backgrounds, the trio have merged together different paths of life into one colossal musical collision. Ben Crutchfield comes from Post-Punk, EDM and Classical front bringing influences from previous bands such as Oppression, Rusty and The Cheese and Theatre of a Broken Mind. Rick Verma's influences range from Hip Hop to Metal and incorporate many technical skills from such playing styles as Funk and Gospel. The final act of this production, Amory Blane, highlights the Horror Punk and Industrial style to Automation with a Cabaret twist influenced from many years working in the London Cabaret scene.
With a Live set that brings a whirlwind of energy, Automation are not for the faint of heart!
