Reggae on the Radio | Album | 2015 |
After the succesfull Album release of Kora Nyara (be strong) in Namibia, various appearances in national television and radios (ex. NBC) and cooperations with Cultural Institutions such as FNCC (Franco Namibian Cultural Center), he decides to move to Germany and start a new challange: bring his music on european stages and improve his knowledges.
Once in Berlin he founds the Shabaka Rootz Band with who he´s now releasing the first Album Reggae on the Radio (CD launch 27th February 2015 in Namibia and soon in Germany). Well known as conscious AfroReggae band, Atum and the Shabaka peforms traditional music as well as Reggae, dancehall, Kambembe, Soukous.
Thanks to his unique music arragemnets and to the cooperation with the drummer, co-founder as well as artistic director Kpakpo Odametey (outta Ghana), Atum brings on the stage a unique new sound nobody can resist and a great show.
A moment of upliftment and reflection as well as high quality entertainment.
