Since he was 12 years old he started to play and explore different instruments like banjo, bass, guitar and saxophone and writing his own songs. However, due to his shy personality it was not until he was 20 years old that he started showing his work and playing at different locations. Fed with confidence due to the reaction and support of his friends and family he produced his first album "Fools".


"Fools" (recorded in Ato's hometown) was released on the 1st of August 2019. The album makes an ironic reflection of situations in life where people feel overwhelmed by other people, events, or just themselves. Each of the five songs frame five different ways to feel and live situations without giving any closure or justification to them.


His music is influenced by country rock and country folk singer songwriters such as Jake Bugg, Sixto Rodriguez and John Fahey.
