In her music she combines Jazz, Pop and Hip-Hop sounds with Latin and Soul influences. To date, Anne Chris has released three albums, ‘Tomorrow is Today’ (2004), ‘Play for Now’ (2010), and ‘Just Kissed the Sun’ (2014).
She has performed at world-renowned venues such as Bimhuis, North Sea Jazz Festival and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Besides being a jazz-singer Anne Chris loves to sing different music styles, she’s been influenced by artists like Esperanza Spalding, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer and Michael Jackson.
She has toured in Italy, Germany, England, Morocco,Turkey, India and Thailand (where the album ‘Play for Now’ was also released).
Her band features Daan Herweg (piano),  Kasper Kalf (bass) and Jasper vanHulten (drums).
Anne Chris’s latest album ‘Just Kissed the Sun’ (O Twenty Records) was released in 2014 at the North Sea Jazz Club in Amsterdam. Anne Chris collaborated with distinguished Dutch pianist Daan Herweg, who co-­‐wrote, co­‐produced and arranged songs for the album.
The album contains ten original songs, with influences from artists like Esperanza Spalding,
Jill Scott and Michael Jackson.The album features two great guest‐musicians:saxophonist
Tineke Postma and guitarist Bas van der Wal.
