Before starting out as electronic live act in 2019, he played in several Indie Bands as guitarist, singer and
songwriter, while at the same time becoming interested in electronic music and rave culture.
He has dedicated himself to exploring the musical area in-between his band-based work, house and techno.
His live setup consists of him mixing his original productions while performing guitar, synthesizers and
vocals live on stage, and experimenting with sound processors and oscillating tape delays. This amounts to
danceable tracks, ranging from technoid to melancholic with a psychedelic feel.
Within the first two years of his live activity, Andy’s Echo already played shows at Übel & Gefährlich, Ritter
Butzke, Mensch Meier, Dockville Festival, 3000Grad Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, in Switzerland,
South Africa and all over Germany, and will be playing on the upcoming AfrikaBurn - the regional Burning
Man event in South Africa. He also played at the Virtual Burning Man.
In May 2020, Andy's Echo released his debut EP ‘Thrill Me’ on 3000Grad/Acker Records followed by
releases on Slow Punch and Dirty Doering’s label Mukke.
