Inspired by Aretha Franklin, the flaring vocal style of Whitney Houston and the rhythmic modern blues of Beyonce, his voice easily matches the high standards of those artists. He trained his voice every day during his school years, taking every opportunity to demonstrate his talents.

His goal is to be a not only a singing sensation, but a star offering genuine substance with his strong, punchy, wide ranging vocals. Taking himself further along this path he attended workshops at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and began entering competitions. His undeniable talent, charisma and passion for the live stage have been built around performances from street busking in city centres to being praised by Simon Cowell and being voted into the final of Britain’s Got Talent. Even though he carefully maintains his voice, Alex is not complacent about his own or other far more needful voices – he still finds time to support several charities. His talents have helped raise £50,000 for Help For Heros and driven increases in the funds of Miles of Smiles, Mountains for Mia and Voice in a Million.
