Hailing from the dark industrial heart of Manchester, Affairs are a sharply-dressed quintet, who have earned a reputation for their ethereal and theatrical live performances, considered lyrics and synth-based electronic indie.

Their music contains elements that are both uniquely modern and nostalgic, as hard hitting synths and sequencers combine seamlessly with rhythmic guitars and a truly unique vocal.

Comparisons have been drawn to artists as diverse as Foals, The Smiths, Wild Beasts.

Affairs have supported the likes of Alt-J, Circa Waves, Dog is Dead, Coasts, Young Kato, Nothing But Thieves, As Elephants Are and JAWS

Their previous singles have gained support from the likes of John Kennedy (Radio X), Steve Lamacq, Tom Robinson, Chris Hawkins (6Music), Janice Long (Radio 2) Shell Zenner, Jim Gellatly (Amazing) & Little Indie Blogs (Linn Branson/The Guardian).
