Tearing down the own musical borders is most probably the only consistent thread in the history of this experimental indie rock band from Germany.

“7 Days Awake” is about the balance between creation and destruction of structures. The tracks are catchy-atmospheric and at the same time always a bit weird, startling and filled with deep love for extended instrumental parts.

Since 2003 “7 Days Awake” have released five albums and played many shows mainly across Germany, but also in the Netherlands and Spain. They supported international bands like “Amplifier” (GB), “Los Natas” (ARG), “The Dwarves” (USA), “WE” (N), “Mother Superior” (USA), “Priestbird” (USA), “Korai Oröm” (H), played several summer festivals and four German tours. The two with the U.S. American instrumental band “Friends of Dean Martinez” are especially in good memory. Other tours with their friends from “Abandon Records”, namely “Nihiling”, “Electro Baby”, “Tricky Lobsters”, “Philia” and “Kongo Skulls” gave 7 Days Awake the chance to develop their compelling and exciting live show.
