100 Voltas is none other than the surprising result of a clear, festive and invigorating encounter between the voice, sometimes with finesse, sometimes with power, of the Galician singer Verónica Codesal (Urban Trad, Ialma), the diatonic accordion of the ever-virtuoso Didier Laloy, the pop/rock violin of the creative Damien Chierici and the invigorating groove of the Togolese drummer and percussionist Boris Tchango.

A repertoire of Galician folk songs and original compositions. A voice that delivers powerful new texts, specially written for 100 Voltas by contemporary Galician poets such as Yolanda Castaño – Premio Nacional 2023 de Poesia -, Lucia Aldao, Rosalia Fernández Rial and Brais Fernández.

There are also original texts written by Verónica in which she tells us her story as a woman, a partner’s wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, an artist, an activist…
