1/2 Orchestra is a brass project with a powerful groove, energy and atmosphere.
Incredibly mixed techno and jazz, afrobeat, hip-hop, drum n bass and funk – all musicians called their genre 'new age brass'. Original electronic sound is achieved by band and accented only, however musicians don't stop experiment with analog instruments, effects and processors.
In last 3 years 1/2 Orchestra got in well to publish 2 albums, to play at the most important festivals in Russia (Picnic Afisha. Usadba Jazz, Jazz Rooftop, Bosco Fresh Fest,Moscow Music Week and more), to being at one scene with «Hidden Orchestra», «Long Arm» and «Bad bad not Good», came in tour in Germany, Hungary and Estonia (Tallin Music Week), and to play a set at the main East-Europe festival Sziget.
