Mastermind, singer and optical center of VOLCANO is Steven Mogin. The charismatic singer with American Indian roots acts as a modern shaman, which evokes the spirit of rock and roll.

Through the musical foundation of VOLCANO quakes rock music of the late 60s and 70s - the influences of the rich-voiced singer Steven Mogin start with THE DOORS to LEE HAZLEWOOD to BLACK SABBATH. But also bands like STONE SOUR, MACHINE HEAD and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY have left their mark.

Lyrics of songs like "Dancing with the Thunder," "Firstborn," and "Cosmic Child" from the first album deal with strong emotions and boundless longing.

VOLCANO - the burning souls are riding through the night of the big city.

Powerful and melancholic at the same time, is the appearance of the band. VOLCANO stand for pure energy and passion - live, on records, and in video clips.

With a new line-up VOLCANO will soon go public with a brand new release. Tosse Basler from Switzerland played with Scapegoat, Avalanche and Evolution and supported Overkill, Testament, Annihilator und Crematory. Now he's playing bass for Volcano.

Sam Sheppard from New Zealand, known from SINATE and 8 FOOT SATIVA, was already touring for over 10 years playing with bands such as METALLICA, SLAYER and the FOO FIGHTERS. Now he brings the rhythm with his drums to VOLCANO.

VOLCANO have played among others at the SUMMER BREEZE FESTIVAL and WACKEN. In addition, they supported HERMANO (KYUSS), DORO PESCH, A PALE HORSE NAMED DEATH (ex-TYPE O NE GATIVE) and many more.
