Formed of Mitch, Rory and Christina, Violetic’s music etches dark landscapes, melancholic chords and sharp, delicate melodies.
Anxious bass lines amplified by bloodied and sensuous drums have led them to be compared to acts like Editors, 2:54 and Daughter, while a shamanistic ambience and ability to communicate devastating sentiment make them a cerebral and hypnotising live act.
Based in West London, Violetic released their debut EP 'Ethanol' in December 2014. Since then, they have been a rare unsigned band added to the CMU 'Approved' list, have supported Marriages at Hoxton Square Bar for their first ever UK date, and were considered one of the '15 Acts to Catch' for this years Alternative Escape Festival in Brighton.
