A work that came after a first self-released EP (Altaveu
Award for Best Lyrics 2016) that captivated the Barcelona label
Discos de Kirlian, and that allowed them to sign eight songs of
dreamy pop, full of exquisite guitars and delicate melodies. A first
album that managed to break frontiers and was re-released on
the Mexican label Emma's House Records with a special design for
the American continent.

Two years later, Últim Cavall would return with a new postcard,
this time from 'Alaska' (Discos de Kirlian, 2019). Their blend of
shoegazing and dreampop, as beautifully melancholic as it was
familiar and relatable, moved even further towards pop.
Melancholic and luminous, 'Alaska' revealed itself as a powerful
inner journey where the goals remained beauty and truth.

After a long period working on the soundtrack for the
documentary '265 days without waves' (Glassy Films - Kalapa
Films, 2022) and meticulous studio work on the new songs, the
time has finally come to savour the band's third album.
'Verí' i ‘Un altre primer cop’ are the first two singles from ‘Un altre
primer cop’, a collection of pop songs that Discos de Kirlian will re-
release in February 2024 and which represents a luminous,
danceable and nostalgic return that consolidates the group within
our scene.
