Albans duo Tasha and Steve, better known collectively as Two Beats Apart, have spent their still relatively short time together defining their sound and placing their trademark style onto a timeless genre. Drawing from their broad individual musical backgrounds and citing a wide variety of musical influences between them they have taken a simple medium and used it to refine a sound all their own.

Having spent the past year working alongside the likes of Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders), Reeves Gabrels (The Cure/David Bowie) and Billy Lunn (The Subways), both Tasha and Steve have fine tuned not only their songwriting but also their live performance, learning from some of the best the business has to offer.

With their eagerly anticipated debut EP (Aim, Fire) due for release on the 18th September 2015 and their music having already been featured on channel 4's prime time show Hollyoaks as well as receiving national radio play, a BBC Introducing feature and praise in print from notable publications such as Kerrang! and Front Magazine, it seems that the Two Beats Apart train has well and truly left the station and shows absolutely no signs of slowing down for anyone.
