In 1932 he built his most popular guitar based on a Neapolitan mandolin.

The Maccaferri's Trio use this type of guitar to play all the Italian classics in a jazzy but also traditional way. From the old folk songs of Northern Italy to the songs sung with dialects from Naples and Sicily, our goal is to perform the most beautiful songs Italy has to offer, in the style of jazz. We also play and sing pieces by the Italian-American Frank Sinatra and the legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone.
