Together with Nish from New Zealand and Miguel straight from Barcelona, The Idol Dead was formed. KC was added to free Polly up on stage from a guitar and the band was complete. EP's and album recorded and released the band started eating up stages in the north of England and even ventured down south, including Barcelona! Winning UK Wide comp Highway to Hell and thus performing on a massive stage at Hard Rock Hell, Hammerfest and Hard Rock Hell Ibiza, The Idol Dead fan funded their 2nd album Dark Little Hearts and received rave reviews and exposure up and down the country.
Taking things further in 2014 the band launched an ambitious pledgemusic campaign which ended up hitting its' target in just 8 weeks! Hollow Point Curses was recorded with audio genius Carl Rosamond and released to a sold out venue in Leeds towards the backend of November. Following this several great reviews including 4.5/5 in The Sun and Album of the Year for many webzines despite it's late release. Nominated for Best Band 2014 on Pure Rawk and capping off the year with a tour with Richie Ramone, including the sold out show at Camden's Barfly...2014 was phenomenal for The Idol Dead, 2015 promises to continue!
