Bei zahlreichen Konzerten, hauptsächlich in der Hauptstadt, wie einigen kleineren Festivals hat die Band rund um Frontmann Thrym viel Erfahrung sammeln können und bereitet sich nun auf ein ereignisreiches 2017 vor.
Als Alex für den ehemaligen Gitarristen Rene eingesprang, wurde es längere Zeit ruhig um die Band, doch nun soll zehn Jahre nach der Grundsteinlegung der erste Longplayer folgen. Nachdem man mit "The Ferryman" (2009) und "Mescaline" (2012) neben einigen einzelnen Songs bereits zwei EPs veröffentlicht hat, hat sich die Band nun dazu entschlossen, die Finanzierung eines Albums in Großauflage zu wagen.
"Baptized In Gasoline" gibt 2016 bereits die zu erwartende Stoßrichtung des neu geschmiedeten Metals an, der The Ferryman im kommenden Jahr hinaus aus der Hauptstadt nach ganz Deutschland tragen wird.

Since 2007 The Ferryman nearly held its founding formation. Playing numerous shows in and around Germany's capital and some smaller festivals the band gained lots of experience and is currently preparing for an eventful year 2017.
When Alex joined the band two years ago things went quiet around the five guys, but now, ten years after laying the foundation stone the first longplayer is about to be released. After recording two EPs (The Ferryman, 2009// Mescaline, 2012) the band decided that it's time to dare the funding of a rounded full-length album.
"Baptized In Gasoline" as a pre-release of the band's upcoming LP debut already presents the newly forged metal style that will shake Germany to its very foundations and carry The Ferryman throughout the country.
