Guided on the one hand by the love of art and music, and on the other by mental disturbances, heart aces, sickness and loses, Temple’s music is a way of insisting on the beauty beneath the noise and on the meaningful in life’s bleaker perspectives.
A rare beauty that roams the fields of tension in both life and music and which leaves behind melancholic compositions that must be seen as both graceful and depressive, silent and noisy.
Contradictions are of key importance for Temple. This shines through in the fusion of conventional instruments, experimental sounds and field recordings. In merging traffic noise, traditional songwriting, wistful guitars and the sounds of the night the group rejects any genre categorization and embraces the diversity of the human mind.
Temple's debut album will be released on September 15th 2014.
