Sysmo is a live percussion concept that connects people through rhythm and dance, unique in Belgium and Europe.

The necessary energy for that to happen is provided by a group of at least 12 percussionists, guided by a conductor. They compose their music in real time with the only objective to bring people to dance. The music is improvised from A to Z, in interaction with the audience.

GUESTS : Every Sysmo show is having one or many guests musicians, that come up and share the stage for half an hour with the group. Current collaborations : DJ Grazzhoppa, DJ Odilon, Tuur Florizoone, etc. Sysmo is opened to proposals (ex: festival line-up artist).

The conductor communicates with the musicians and the audience through the use of a dedicated sign language composed of more than a hundred signs. This language is what connects the group of percussionists and the audience to what's happening in the moment.

Sysmo doesn't refer to music styles, but pure rhythm, dance and happiness.

"This is like electronic music, played by a real band ... I couldn't stop dancing for two hours !" As Julie from Brussels (really:-) said after a Sysmo show at le Bazaar.
