Stocker / Eyes are percussionist Beau Stocker and multi-instrumentalist Ben Eyes.

Beau comes from a strong heritage of cutting edge and improvised music. Working with acclaimed experimental jazz band "Trio VD", travelling Africa and India in search of new grooves and forming collaborations with improvising ensemble Ish for his latest large scale piece "Dancing With Sand". Beau's rhythmic explorations, use of drums with live electronics and strong sense of dynamic groove provides the backbone to Stocker/Eyes's flowing sonic explorations. Ben Eyes has a history of bands and solo productions releasing and performing music as The Diamond Sea, Quip and under his own name. His work with vintage analogue and modular synths and tireless exploration for new sounds has seen him release on labels This is Music, The Centrifuge and Time Released Sound. Ben has recently worked with award winning composer Ambrose Field and Mercury nominees Roller Trio.
Stocker / Eyes's first album "Strike Force Alpha" lays out the ground for the duo with passages of funky drums driving slabs of electronics, wailing guitars, dusty synths and found sounds.
Their second album sees an even more focused approach to making improvised music. Made over a particularly fierce winter consisting of long improvised sessions in the studio, modular synths, processed 1990s workstations, Oxfam sourced guitar effects and live drum processing.
Not shy of performing, the band stick to their improvised roots and explore a sound world of hypnotising beats, passages of doom influenced drones and modular wig outs. Recent performances include collaborations with Digital Archaeologist Katie Campbell retelling the story of the Catholic Martyr, Margaret Clitherow and a performance using a EEG brain transmitter attached to Beau to influence and control aspects of the bands sound.
