He started playing piano when he was eight. After discovering alternative rock in his teens, he played in numerous bands before embarking on a solo career in 2004.

In the past eight years he has played over 900 shows in Europe, Canada, USA(Culture Collide Festival 2013,2014), China, Thailand, Japan(RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2017 in EZO) and South Korea(Zandari Festa 2017). He has released ten albums and 1 EPs, as well as greatest hits albums in Japan.

SiMoN has shared stages with artists like Fun. Phoenix, Dinosaur Jr.,Cloud Nothings, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah,Nina Persson(The Cardigans), Laetitia Sadier(Stereolab), The Raveonettes,Rhye, De Lux, Beat Connection, Rob Crow(Pinback), Chateau Marmont...

Since April 2016, SiMoN has been based in Osaka, Japan. He loves to read books, watch films, listen to music and cooking.
