Every Time We Meet I Want To Die | EP | 2017 |
Since exploding onto the Glasgow music scene in 2017 with their debut EP ‘Every Time We Meet I Want To Die’ the band have made a huge impact in Scotland and around the UK. Appearances at major new music festival’s such as BBC 6 Music Festival, Stag & Dagger, Tenement Trail, Meet The North, Xpo North and Freakender along with supporting the likes of Black Lips, Catholic Action, Fontaines D.C, Rascalton, The Van Ts and Avalanche Party have taken Shredd around the UK and allowed them to build a significant fan base around the country.
Singles ‘Cobra’ and ‘Flight of Stairs’ saw the band win Best Newcomer at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards 2017. These singles coupled with the band’s second EP ‘Eat Your Enemy’ have saw multiple sold out headline shows in their hometown of Glasgow, including The Old Hairdressers, Nice N Sleazy and The Hug & Pint. Along with their ever growing fanbase Shredd have gained the support of major players in the UK music industry such as Vic Galloway, The Skinny, Tenement TV and This Feeling. The beginning of 2019 will see the band embark on their widest reaching tour yet and with multiple festival bookings already the year ahead looks to be the biggest yet for Shredd.
