Shambolics are a four-piece dreamy rock & roll band hailing from Kirkcaldy, Fife inspired by some of the best indie bands from the past 30 years with a hint of 60's psychedelia, 70's harmonies, 80's clean guitar chimes & 90's melodic anthems.

The band consist of Lewis McDonald on vocals/guitar, Darren Forbes on vocals/guitar, Jordan McHatton on bass and Andrew Finlay on drums.

Shambolics began at the end of 2015 after a few jam's in Darren's DIY 'Eggman Studios'. After gigging relentlessly around the UK they have built a cult following with their army of fans selling out gig after gig. Despite only being formed in 2015 Shambolics have already bagged support slots with English alternative indie dance band The Sunshine Underground, 90's Liverpool band Space and Scottish indie darlings The View.
Amongst these support slots Shambolics have toured relentlessly all over the UK since the beginning of 2016. Promotors 'This Feeling' have been a huge part in Shambolics development bagging them UK headline tours and huge festival slots.
Shambolics have played this years hugely anticipated Isle of Wight Festival, Tramlines, Y Not & Reading/Leeds Festival playing the Jack Rocks stage for This Feeling. With 2 more UK wide tours lined up for 2017 it looks to be a promising year for 'The Shams'.

After travelling to London in November 2016 to play a 'Creation Records' night, Alan Mcgee formerly of Creation Records (Oasis, Primal Scream, Jesus & The Marychain) regarded Shambolics as 'A great new band'.
This Feeling, Radio X, Jack Daniels & Fred Perry Subculture all tipped Shambolics to be 'Big in 2017'.

The latest singles 'When She Goes Home', 'Chasing a Disaster' & 'Love Collides' have done their rounds on social media aswell as gaining radio airplay and reviews all over the world. 'Love Collides' was released through Electric Honey Records (Biffy Clyro, Belle & Sebastion, Snow Patrol) and has gained alot of radio attention from Edith Bowmans Virgin Radio breakfast show, Jim Gellatly's Amazing Radio Show and Vic Galloways BBC Introducing Show on BBC Radio Scotland.
The track was also premiered on Sky Sports 1 Fantasy Football Show and in May it entered the German indie charts at 27 and climbed into the top 20.

In October 2017 Shambolics where crowned winners at the 'Scottish Alternative Music Awards' firstly being nominated by some of Scotlands biggest names inside the music industry to then go on and win the public vote winning the prestigious 'Best Rock/Alternative' award.

‘The Shams’, as they’re known to fans continue to grow as a band constantly writing and recording at their 'Eggman Studios' base in Dunfermline.
With more music and more gigs in the pipeline it looks like 2017 can prove to be a massive year for Shambolics.
