"The first single to come from Sacre Noir’s forthcoming third LP is a wonderfully haunting slice of bluesy electronica.
Accompanied by an appropriately creepy video (directed by Stephen Young), ‘Listen To Me’ fuses together rock, electro and blues-inspired instrumentation to create an intense, cinematic ballad, somewhat reminiscent of The Dead Weather.
As powerful, angst-laden vocals flow alongside climactic riffs and echoing reverb, ‘Listen To Me’ offers a glimpse into the wonderfully disturbed world of Sacre Noir."

Here's the back story:
Sacre Noir are a Scottish based three piece, centred around vocalist / producer Carrie Beattie. Initially conceived as a solo project, Sacre Noir released a trilogy of EPs before bringing in the talents of Phil Lock on guitar and Alexis Beattie on electronic drums to perform live and record the debut LP 'Her Volatile Condition.'
In 2011 Sacre Noir took to the road to tour their first album, performing debut shows in Berlin, Paris, London and Liverpool. Highlights included gigs at the Paris Plages festival and at the infamous Vibe Bar on London's Brick Lane.
Sacre Noir kicked off their 2012 summer tour with concerts in Glasgow and Edinburgh with American electronic duo Hyperbubble. These shows also marked the launch of the 2nd album - 'Sinking Into Darkness', which included Sacre Noir's debut single / video release 'She Can't Take It'. During the 2012 summer tour Sacre Noir appeared at La Rotonde Stalingrad (Paris) and Madame Claude's (Berlin) among other venues.
2013-15 saw Sacre Noir embark on various summer tours, including shows at The Dublin Castle, Power Lunches and Power's Bar in London, Le Vieux Leon, La dame de Canton & Au Chat Noir in Paris, Little Stage and SoupaNova in Berlin to name a few. During these tours Sacre Noir appeared with some great acts including George Frakes, AsOne, Jen Stevens & The Hiccups, Josephine Sillars, The Ocean's Above, Dressmaker, the Mickey 9s, The Penny Black Remedy and many more.
In 2014 ended with the completion of the 'Sinking Into Darkness' video trilogy.
In 2015 the band released 'Listen To Me' & "It's Too Late Now (Toni Smoke Remix)' with videos for each release.
As a vocalist Carrie has also collaborated under the Sacre Noir moniker with various notable producers - recent features have included work with various hip-hop artists currently working in Scotland including MOG and UVBeatz (both Powercut Productions), Conscious Route (True Hold Records) and MC duo Werd & Deeko (Sons of Scotland).
"Undoubtedly, this artist has made this record from their own heart..."
"moody blues that sounds like it's been filtered through transistors, capacitors and other gadgetry"
