A self-taught pianist from the age of 11, after years living in Cornwall Robert embarked back in-land. In 2014, he decided to pursue his life-long musical inclinations and ambitions and since that summer has been playing live shows across the West Midlands, building up a reputation as a dynamic and emotive live performer.

Robert draws on his life experience to craft lyrics that carefully balance the personal and the universal; anchoring them to big melodies and backdrops of lush instrumentation and trip-hop inspired beats. Though in each arrangement, Robert sincerely believes in the principles of simplicity and space whereby the vocals and piano are always at the very emotional core of the song ready to connect with the listener."
