When a musical exhibition comes to life.

The establishment of the music band was inspired by the collection of Gábor Bodnár musical instrument maker and collector. It was the joy of collective music making that brought the band together on a drumming program organized by Gábor.
Rhythmicon is the authentic name of the rhythm machine created by Leon Theremin, the first electronic drum in 1932. Naturally, the base of Ritmikon’s music is rhythm and improvisation.
Their musical instruments involve djembes, darbukas, shamanic drums, jew’s harps, didgeridoos, indian flute, hulusi, etc, and almost anything that sounds.
Their genre can be defined as a kind of mix of styles, improvisation-based instrumental experimental world music, ranging from ambient and downtempo through goa to drum&bass with folkloric elements from different parts of the world.
Since their establishment in 2017 they have played in several exhibition openings, for example, Ritus with St Martin, Sámán and Ecsetpárbaj. They gave a concert at Múzeumok Éjszakája, Törökbálint Falumúzeum, Klauzál Ház world music day event in Budafok, as well as at PostART and JMMH in Budaörs. They also took part and gave concerts at Ízek, Versek, Madárfütty festival, Mediawave Film & Music Festival, Jade Spirit Festival and, in addition, they played together with Hoppál Mihály Band and with ETA at their concerts. They also gave a charity concert at National Institute of Medical Rehabilitation (OORI). The band was introduced in Trend Idők program of radio Kossuth and in the local TV of Budaörs.
