She was born in Riga (Latvia).

Ria’s musical talent was recognized at an early age, when she attended vocal training in her school choir.
However she dreamed of becoming a TV host. And later on those dreams came true.

But music entices Ria more and more. She was inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Sade, Michael Jackson.
She attended jazz vocal lessons. And that made her realize that her true passion is music.

As a singer Ria Rik started her solo career in 2011 in the Festival „Colours Of Summer“.

In 2015 the singer won first place in the Festival „Chanson Songs“ in Germany.

Her songs are written in versatile genres.
Primarily the singer specializes in Pop, Soul and Jazz.

In 2017 the music video for „My Best Friend“ by A.Kirss feat. R.Rik topped the First Baltic Musical Channel for three consecutive months.

At the end of November last year the singer released her first single "You're My Dream".
