"Queralt Lahoz is one of the most talented artists on the current new Catalan scene…" Mondo Sonoro “Queralt can get delightful and travel in a capricious and free way, from Habana's Malecón walk to the Albaicín in Granada, from tumbao to hip hop passing by a copla.

All performed with such an overwhelming personality that leaves you breathless."

Queralt Lahoz is a young singer born in Santa Coloma de Gramanet, a town of Andalusian migration where much of her family emigrated from Granada. She learned to speak by singing in the ear of her grandmother Maria, who asked her to sing songs, flamenco, boleros at home, where there was always the radio playing.

"La Misa" is a song inspired by flamenco, one of the starting points of Queralt's project. With the strength of her voice, Queralt manages to hypnotize the spectator. Inspired by artists who guide her, it is a tribute to Enrique Morente, one of the great flamenco figures. "La Misa" is a walking stick to the struggles of yesterday, today and tomorrow. "De que me vale que tu rezes y pidas la bendición" is a pledge to stop listening to the words and focus on acts. Difficult times are coming and Queralt Lahoz is very clear about who she is. The video is directed by Pau Gutiérrez who has worked with renowned artists in the scene such as Aleesha and Kyne. The shocking images engraved in the water reflect the words that do not come far from the lies. There is a common denominator in all Queralt Lahoz music videos; careful aesthetics with stunning fabrics and clothes, a careful image in detail. The project is accompanied hand in hand by the record and cooperative label Say It Loud Records.

Queralt Lahoz released last November 1917, his first EP with songs combining flamenco and Latin R&B. The project is accompanied by Marc Soto ( Sra. Tomasa) on drums, Pau García on the keyboards and Fede Jahzzmvn on samplers. They have managed to make everyone fall in love for their music.

Queralt, with just one EP is selling out several shows already and is pretty well acclaimed by the press.
