She writes music about her inner emotional life and life experiences. Growing up, as not unusual for any poc, she faced discrimination and racism, something that formed her music as well as her career choices.
June 26 2024 QICA released the single ’Supernova’, from her debut EP ’This Thing Called Life’ which was released Nov. 15 2024. With smooth, suggestive and bassy arrangements QICA’s voice travels through four tracks of broken hearts, mental breakdowns and hope. The EP was mentioned in Nöjesnytt (SWE) with a cover and an interview about her music and artistry.
2021 QICA was awarded Entertaiment Personality 2020 by Nöjesnytt Newspaper. 2024 QICA was a guest speaker on GIGMIT online workshop on how to be a sustainable artist and June 27 the same year she showcased a live performance on their CWXP Metaverse stage, also created her first and now only NFT (non funginable token) on sound.xyc
QICA is constantly moving forward, in her pace, independently. Continously serving personal insightfull lyrics and harmonic melodies. With her strong stage presence QICA undeniably leaves you wanting more and with an exciting future ahead, QICA is an artist on the rise.
