With shows still booked, they pulled together a setlist and made the most of it. Touring the rough and ready style, they bonded over their love of huge tone, "play everything fast", and miniature model making.
With a new thirst for adventure, they started work on perfecting their style. Inspired by bands like Franz Ferdinand, Queens of the Stone Age, Death From Above 1979, and Blood Red Shoes, Prayers Electric make music that's soulful, intricate and groovy.
Their songs delve into a range of themes, including affairs of the heart, grappling with the pleasures of addiction, pressures of the music industry, and a longing for more.
When asked for comment, they claimed: "We are the cool underdogs with killer tunes. Our music may fly under the radar, but it hits you square in the jaw, so don't look away."
