With an extensive background in classical piano, she later immersed herself in the world of synthesisers, ambient textures, and melancholic electro-pop. Her music seamlessly blends her greatest passions—singing, keyboards, synthesisers, acoustic instruments and electronic soundscapes—creating an immersive fusion of Nordic ambient atmospheres and melancholy.
In 2021, Pološywa released her electronic debut album Existence, recorded and produced in Vienna in collaboration with renowned French producer Gwenael Damman. She first gained national recognition as a finalist in Noortebänd 2019, Estonia’s largest and longest-running band competition. Since then, she has performed on international stages and at some of Estonia’s most prominent festivals, including Tallinn Music Week, Jazzkaar, Intsikurmu, Võnge, Köiguste, Beach Grind and Pärnu Music Festival, as well as stages across Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
In 2023 Pološywa’s piece “Siiapoole” reached the finals of Uus Laul, Estonia’s esteemed music TV show, followed by its orchestral debut in 2024 with Kristjan Järvi and Nordic Pulse. Her composition “I’m Feeling Loved” earned second place at the Austrian Composers Young Jazz Award 2023. Recent releases also include collaborations with Austrian electronic music producers Aweb, Killin’ Void, and Gl:ow as well as an ambient solo single “Kulg”. A versatile collaborator, Pološywa works across various genres, from EDM and pop to classical, ambient, and orchestral music, continually expanding her artistic expression.
