Inspired by the musical heritage of his native city, and drawing upon a range of influences that include indie, blues, and folk music, Pat has crafted his own melodic blend of acoustic guitar pop. Pat released his first debut EP ‘Something Borrowed. Something Blue’ in February 2017 and continues to gig around the Manchester area.
Pat’s former band, Pat Lyons and the Sins were formed in 2009. Pat played alongside Matt Ellis on guitar, Cait Lyons on vocals, Mike Fahy on bass, and Mick James / Jake Gosling on drums. The group played for several years around the Manchester area, releasing several EP’s and an album. Their most notable achievement was the release of a self-recorded album titled ‘Friday Night Confessions at Castro Amsterdam’ released in November 2012. The band launched the album at a special gig night at the Three Minute Theatre, situated in Manchester’s iconic Affleck’s Palace building, which was a sell-out event and huge success. The band however disbanded following various line-up changes in 2014. Pat now continues to write and perform as a solo-artist.
