Pat Carter, singer, songwriter and driving force behind acclaimed Belrin based
Americana band Rodeo FM has performed in dingy cellars and at vernissages,
at weddings and funerals, in beer tents and nightclubs, at jazz festivals, tenant
movement symposiums and demonstrations.
Along the way, he established his
own niche genre - left wing country - or, as the Magazine Folker put it -
"Diskurs-Country". Somewhere between gram Parsons, Howe Gelb, Tom Petty
and jackson Browne, influenced by Marxist writers like David Harvey or
Gregoire Chamayou, Carter tells us how the devil pays the bills and how the
bad shit under the carpet just keeps growing...
